Dear NFNL Senior Players & Volunteers,

To all players who are undecided re playing, retired, still want to stay involved or looking to pick up some extra cash, or if there are also some Volunteers/club members who might be interested in doing more read below.

Here is a message from the NFNL's Head of Umpiring.

Tired of all the knocks and still love your footy - UMPIRING is for you! Umpire close to home at a ground near you. Umpires get paid a dollar per minute every time they umpire a game in the field. That's $60 an hour.

Our junior umpires umpire back to back games on Sunday and most umpire at least one game on Saturday.

You can either choose to be a field, boundary or goal umpire (or a combination of them)

Our umpiring is well structured with support staff that assist with training, coaching, observations and feedback. We are just like any other club.

Umpiring is classed as a hobby and is tax FREE.

Friendships are made, we are inclusive and we offer career pathways to the VFL and AFL.

All that is required is to attend training one night a week on Thursdays.

Field umpiring Pay Under 14's (4 x 15 min.quarters) $63.14
Senior Women's (4 x 20 min. quarters $94.70
Senior Men's (4 x 20 min.quarters plus time on) $140.30

You can umpire Saturday or Sunday or a combination of both or back to back games and you can earn over $400 a weekend TAX FREE paid monthly direct into your bank account.



The NFNL pays over $22k each weekend in umpire payments and you can have a share in it.

Now what we are looking for is for you to join our group, commit to the season and find your passion for umpiring and CASH in on your skills at all levels.
